Information Resources Announces Formation of FreshLook, A Sales and Marketing Service for Perishables CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)

--June 28, 2000--Manufacturers, retailers and growers of perishable consumer packaged goods can now purchase targeted sales tracking information and services from FreshLook Marketing Group. FreshLook Marketing Group is a new company dedicated to providing the perishables industry with sales information and marketing insights and has been formed through the support of Information Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ:IRIC - news).

The new company, founded by former IRI leaders Mark Degner, Ed Mackowiak and Joe Kolano, is a separate entity from Information Resources, Inc., although IRI maintains an equity position in the company and a seat on its Board of Directors. The two companies will operate in alliance to serve the perishables needs of consumer packaged goods clients.
